Each monitor can be checked from multiple regions. Regional checks improve outage detection and latency visibility.

How Regional Checks Work
The dispatcher creates one check job per monitor-region pair. A monitor with six regions runs six checks each cycle.
Selection Guidelines
- Critical external APIs: select all available regions.
- Internal/regional APIs: select primary customer regions plus one secondary region.
- Cost/noise balance: start with 2 to 3 regions and expand based on incident history.
